Synopsis : In the wake of moving to Iwatodai City, Makoto Yuki had inadvertently found himself leading a covert Gekkoukan High School club called the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad — SEES against supernatural monsters called Shadows which appear during the Dark Hour time period. While chasing the mystery of the Dark Hour, Makoto and his friends soon found themselves in various death battles against the giant Shadows which appeared on the nights of the full moon and barely manage to emerge victorious. As the seasons change from Spring to Summer, the bonds between Makoto and his friends deepen and they gain new allies and insight into the horrific origins of the Shadows and the Dark Hour. The Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad then find themselves faced with the difficult task of defeating the remaining Shadows, while simultaneously struggling with their own demons. At the same time they also encounter powerful new foes who seek to stop them from eradicating the Dark Hour—all the while unaware of the greater forces at work.
